How I Work

I usually work as a subcontractor to a prime consultant that has undertaken a project, usually funded by a development agency. The overall project might be quite large, say, in the order of several million dollars or, it may be a small study of less than $100,000. In any case, my role is that of an expert in a specific area, be it electricity tariffs, economic/ financial issues or as Team Leader. Depending on the project, I may be the sole expert or I may be part of a professional, multi-disciplinary team. On most projects, I interact with both senior management and subordinate staff to get the job done.

As a result of my worldwide experience, I am used to working in many different types of environments, from North America and Western Europe to lesser-developed economies. Since I know my areas of expertise well and have worked in a wide variety of environments, I am able to assess most situations quickly and ultimately deliver results in accordance with the requirements of the job.
